English: 1860 imaginary depiction of Richard de Grenville (d. post 1142). Below the right hand figure of Richard de Granville, who holds in his hands the church of his foundation of Neath Abbey, is inscribed: "Ric. de Granville Earl of Corboyle" with attributed arms under showing: Gules, three clarions or (the arms of his overlord the de Clare, Earl of Gloucester) with an inescutcheon of pretence of Gules, three lions passant argent.
