Español: Vista de la Ribera del Río de la Plata desde la zona del Fuerte de Buenos Aires (donde hoy se encuentra la Casa de Gobierno) hacia los barrio de Monserrat y San Telmo. A la derecha resalta la chimenea del Molino San Francisco, una de las construcciones más altas y con más pisos de la ciudad. Al margen derecho, las dos cúpulas de la Iglesia de Santo Domingo. Hacia el fondo, se ve la Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Belén. Con el río en un bajo nivel, se formaban ollas donde se lavaba la ropa, y se ven edificaciones precarias y materiales de construcción. |
