Rhododendrons as Imported. RHODODENDRON MAXIMUM. Among the most beautiful of evergreen flowering shrubs, and is especially adapted for planting in masses on estates and in parks, as it is perfectly hardy in any part of the country, will thrive in a shady or ex- posed position. The flowers are produced in great profusion; vary in color from pure white to all the delicate shades of pink. The flowering season is July, after the hybrid varieties are past blooming, prolonging the flowering season of these shrubs. "We can supply them in large specimens for a back- ground in front of which the hybrid varieties can be planted.
