Description
English: François Gilbert, born 1757, was vicar of Bazoques in the time of the Revolution (1791). He was then elected as "constitutional priest" of Fontaine-la-Louvet but refused to accept the job and fled to England in 1792. He came back after the Revolution and became priest of Giverville in 1802. He died there in 1819.
