Summary
[edit]DescriptionReverseEngineering Silberpfeil notext.png |
English: The reverse engineering process is shown in a Silver-Arrow Racing car from 1954. The original car (1) was scanned in 14 hours and a point cloud (2) with 98 million points was created. The point cloud was then cross-sectioned with axes parallel sections with a 2-centimeter distance to reduce the number of points (3). On the cross sections, a CAD model (4) was designed in 80 working hours. Based on the CAD model a new car (5) was built on the original scale. |
