Summary

[edit]
Description The Restored Channel feature of the project includes a number of channel modifications located between the Boulevard Drive-In and and Mill Street. The remaining section of the channel between Mill Street and Mission Road remains left in place to minimize the impacts to the natural riparian corridor through this section. The Restored Channel phase of the project was added with the reauthorization in 2003, follwing significant flood events that allowed the hydraulic model to be recalibrated. Construction was completed on the Restored Channel Phase 1 in June of 2013. Phase 2 is scheduled to be completed in April of 2014 and Phase 3 in June of 2015.
