Summary[edit]

Description
English: The children of the first generation of settlers from Northern Dobrudja who settled in the village of Gurkovo, Balchik municipality, after the Craiova Agreement of 1940. The authentic costumes and customs that our compatriots brought with them after being displaced for a day and came with only the clothes on their backs have been preserved. The group for recreation of customs "Living roots" at the Chitalishte "Svoboda-1897", village Gurkovo, municipality Balchik keeps the traditions alive!
