Summary[edit]

Description Ecologists release translocated California red-legged frogs into a stream in the Santa Monica Mountains. The species is listed as threatened under the Endangered Species Act and had not been seen in the mountains since the 1970s. The National Park Service has been working to re-establish the local population by translocating them from a nearby population in the Simi Hills.
