Reconstructing the Oxford to Bicester line.Wendlebury Farm Level Crossing is the site of the current piling operation along the now (temporarily) disused Oxford-Bicester line. The existing single line has been completely removed, 2km of piling is being added and this crossing removed, to be replaced by a bridge. The trackbed after strengthening will be re-sued for a double track electrified railway as part of the East-West Electric Spine project. |
