t dann abermals nach der melancholischenSeite hin ab und erhebt sich danach erst wieder bis zur Breite der Gesund-heit, die ja, wie wir seiner Zeit hervorgehoben haben, bei dunklem Hintergrundeauch die des Stupors sein kann, der in seiner chronischen Form wieder mit dem,was wir so schlechthin Blödsinn nennen, zusammenfällt. Nur in den Bildern, dieAbortivformen der Psychosen darstellen, zeigt sich davon eine Ausnahme. Bei denAbortivformen im eigentlichsten Sinne des Wortes bleibt die Curve stets auf dermelancholischen Seite, endigt sogar auf ihr, mitunter weit von der Breite derGesundheit ab, wenn z. B. in einem Raptus melancholicus der Tod eingetreten ist(siehe Taf. 3 u. 4). Fasst man dieses Alles nun noch einmal in das Auge und sieht geflissentlichvon den einzelnen Unregelmässigkeiten, den localen Zickzacken, der ganzen jeweiligenCurve ab, so ergiebt sich, dass man selbige in sehr einfacher, schematisirter Weise Real-Encyclopädie der ges. Heilkunde. XVI. 2. Aufl. 11 162 PSYCHOSE.
