Ende mündet er in das Endstück bei /., welches mit einem Kautschukgebläse (K) in Ver-bindung gesetzt wird. Diese Vorrichtung ermöglicht es, mit Hilfe des bereits eingeführten OESOPHAGUS-KRANKHEITEN. 521 Instrumentes nach Bedarf Luft in den Magen zu pumpen, was später noch ausführlichbesprochen werden soll. Die Lichtung des Gastroskops enthält ein nach Art eines Fernrohres angeordnetesSystem von Linsen. Dieser optische Apparat ist am ventralen Ende (bei E) durch ein nebendem früher genannten Krystallfenster befindliches, rechtwinkeliges Prisma abgeschlossen,welches als Spiegel wirkt und die von der Seite des Instrumentes einfallenden Lichtstrahlenin der Richtung des Tubus reflectirt. Das Bild eines an der Seite des Prismas befindlichenund durch die glühende Platinschlinge beleuchteten Gegenstandes wird also durch Vermittlungdes genannten Prismas von dem Fernrohre aufgenommen und gelangt in das am oralen Endedes Gastroskops bei G befindliche Auge des Untersuchenden.
