Description
Deutsch: Der stattliche Fachwerkbau mit Türmchen und großer Freitreppe wurde in Jahren von 1668 bis 1670 von Zimmermeister Jakob Schalles auf den Grundmauern des zerstörten früheren Rathauses errichtet.

Wegen seiner künstlerischen, geschichtlichen und städtebaulichen Bedeutung ist das Gebäude ein geschütztes Kulturdenkmal.

Sontra ist eine Stadt im nordhessischen Werra-Meißner-Kreis.
