Description
Deutsch: Rathaus am Stadtplatz von Mühldorf am Inn (Landkreis Mühldorf am Inn, Oberbayern). Der gelbe Putzbau steht im nordöstlichen Bereich des langgezogenen Stadtplatzes. Zu letzterem zeigt er 9 Öffnungsachsen, bei 4 Stockwerken. Am schönsten das Erdgeschoss mit gotischem Arkadengang (Spitzbogen-Öffnungen); darüber zwei Stockwerke mit zurückhaltenden barocken Fensterrahmungen. Die oberste Etage (Dachgeschoss) zeigt die gesamte Fassade belebende Rundfenster. Zur Belebung der eher nüchternen Ansicht trägt auch das plastische Stadtwappen ungefähr in Fassadenmitte bei. Den oberen Abschluss leistet ein einfaches Gesimsband, das ein Flachdach vortäuscht (typisch für die historische Bauweise in Mühldorf und der gesamten Inn-Salzach-Region). Das Rathaus entstand aus drei Gebäuden, die 1497 und 1638 angekauft wurden und die man nach dem Stadtbrand von 1640 ein Jahr später baulich zusammenfasste.
