English: Luxembourg Rambrouch: the site where the Royal Air Force Halifax bomber W7677 crashed on September 9 1942. The bomber dropped bombs over Frankfurt am Main where it was damaged by anti-aircraft gunfire. On its return to England, it went down near Rambrouch in Luxembourg. Three of the seven crew members died in the crash. Their tombs are at the cemetery in Rambrouch. The cross was erected by Martin Scheeck (1915-2008), inhabitant of Rambrouch. In front of the cross: pieces of the crashed plane collected from the surroundings.
