Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Rajrajeshwari ShivaLingamis situated inthe Rajrajeshwari Temple at the Shivoham Ashram (Parsodi Village, Near the town of Saoner in the district of Nagpur, Maharashtra, India). Rajrajeshwari ShivaLingam consists 3 parts A Yoni holding inside of it a large ShivaLingam with a Shri Yantra at its top. This is a very unique ShivaLingam which is inspired by 3 types of Tantras: Yamala Tantra, Damara Tantra and Kularnav Tantra.

In Sanskrit the word “linga” means ‘symbol’ or ‘mark of identification’ therefore the ShivaLingam is a symbol of Shiva. A ShivaLingam is a cylindrical shaped or pillar like structure which represents the Adishiv (the first form of Shiva) or Parashiv (the ultimate form of Shiva) and themasculine energy (Purush tatvam) of the universe. The round shape of the Lingamrepresents the circulation of energy which is eternally active - Shiva has no end and no beginning. The pillar like aspect of the structure represents stability and also symbolizes the link between the “Prakriti” (Nature) and “Paratma” (Consiousness). It indicates the spiritual journey of “Atman” (Individual Consiousness) onto unite with the “Paramtma” (Universal Consciousness). And to transform oneself from “Nara”(Common human) to “Narayan” (Enlightened human). In Sanskrit the word “Yoni” means the “Womb”. It is a symbol of the origin or source and it represents Maa Parvati (Mother Nature). The Yoni is a disc shaped or a circular bottom section of the idol which represents the Adishakti (the first form of shakti) or Parashakti (the ultimate form of shakti) and the Feminine energy (Stri tatvam) of the universe. The Yoni (Womb) of the goddess is the “Garbhgriha” (Sanctum) of “Prakriti” (Mother Nature). This is the place where the “Atma” after separating from “Paratma” arrives and takes different forms and begins their individual journey of existence back towards “Paratma”. In this journey the “Atma” changes many forms by taking several births with the aim of completingmultiple universal goals, accomplished by serving nature and at the same time works on their spiritual growth. The combination of the Yoni and Lingam represents the “Ardhnari Nateshwar” form of Shiva and Shakti. This symbolises the importance of the masculine and feminine energy working together. It defines the complete cycle of the Creation, Sustentation and Destruction (Desolvement) of the “Atman” and the universe. Hence Lord Shiva is called as “Jagat Pita” (Universal Father) and Maa Parvati is called as “Jagat Mata” (Universal Mother).

In literatures we always come through one principle whatever we have in pind (body) is present in universe. That means the pind (body) is replica of universe. And in vedic languages Shiva lingam is also called as “Linga Pind”. And it is also exact replica of the universe. The “Yoni” is the space and the “Lingam” is called as the “Agni Linga” or “Agni Sthambh” (the fire pillar or the supreme sun) which is source of energies. Everything is generated with this “Agni Linga” and everything diminishes in it. It is said to be the true form of Lord Shiva which is called as “Nirgun Nirakar” (Formless and neutral form). The sound of “AUM” always emits from this lingam which sources of all types of pranic energies. Our universe consists of many galaxies which are divided into “Sapta Saur Mandal” (7 Solar systems). And these Solar systems, galaxies, thousands of planets, and many unknown things are revolving around this “Agni Linga”.
