When it was decided that His RoyalHighness, Prince Henry of Prussia.should make a short tour through theUnited States, Assistant Secretary ofState Hill at once called into consulta-tion the officers of the Pennsylvania Rail-road Company and sought their adviceconcerning the transportation featuresand the itinerary. The Secretary and theother officers composing the ReceptionCommittee stated that by reason of itsresources, excellent management, andcompleteness of its tourist system theyconsidered the Pennsylvania the safestand best transportation line in the landto which they could entrust all mattersconnected with the movement of theirdistinguished guest.
