ase full power is not required. Malicious or wilful interference on the part of any radiostation or the transmission of any false or fraudulent dis-tress signal or call is prohibited. Severe penalties areprovided for violation of these provisions. Special amateur stations may be Hcensed at the dis-cretion of the Secretary of Commerce to use a longerwave length and higher power than general amateur sta-tions. Applicants for special amateur station licensesmust have had two years experience in actual radio com-munication. A special license will then be granted bythe Secretary of Commerce only if some substantialbenefit to the science of radio communication or to com-merce seems probable. Special amateur stations located,on or near the sea coast must be operated by a personholding a commercial license. Amateur station licensesare issued to clubs if they are incorporated, or if anymember holding an amateur operators license will acceptthe responsibility for the operation of the apparatus.

C. The accompany-ing map indicates the territory covered by each radiodistrict. Each district has a Radio Inspector, w^hose address isgiven below: First District Boston, Mass. Second District New York City Third District Baltimore, Md. Fourth District Norfolk, Va. Fifth District New Orleans, La. Sixth District San Francisco, Calif. Seventh District Seattle, Wash. Eighth District Detroit, Mich. Ninth District Chicago, 111. Once more, let it be clearly understood that no Hcenseis required for a receiving set only or for the operatorof a receiving set.
