Italiano: APPOGGIATESTA a base semisferica da cui si innalza un supporto verticale in cui è infisso un elemento decorativo in ferro. Il piano su cui poggia la testa si restringe al centro, mentre si allarga ad arco di cerchio ai lati, decorati in nero con due linee di motivi triangolari.
Gli appoggiatesta in Africa sono utilizzati per preservare l'acconciatura durante il sonno, per avere una maggiore aerazione della testa e per favorire sogni propizi. Il sogno è una delle vie attraverso cui le divinità e gli antenati si manifestano agli esseri umani. |
