Italiano: Maschera Gegon - Maschera zoomorfa di superficie scura, volto ovale, ampia fronte bombata e occhi a fessura; al lungo becco sporgente è agganciata una barba di pelo di scimmia. È una maschera d'intrattenimento che, accompagnata da musica e cori, si muove circolarmente stendendo le braccia come se stesse per spiccare il volo. È possibile che in passato fosse associata ai miti che circondano la figura del tucano, animale civilizzatore che portò agli uomini la noce e l'olio di palma. Il tucano sarebbe il primo essere vivente creato da Dio, prima ancora che fosse creata la terra. Per questo motivo, non trovando altro che il vuoto, il tucano avrebbe seppellito la madre nel proprio becco.
