Italiano: INSEGNA RITUALE a forma di uncino con testa di cavallo stilizzata, con orecchie aguzze e criniera traforata. Queste insegne sono portate sulla spalla dai membri della società yona ("ladro"), composta dai cosiddetti "ladri rituali". Il furto a cui si allude è quello del fuoco (un pezzo di sole) a opera di uno degli antenati (geni nommo, i progenitori dell'umanità) che si sarebbe servito di un bastone a uncino, con bocca spalancata, orecchie aguzze e un rilevo a zig zag che facevano pensare a un cavallo (Griaule 1948). Il fuoco portato in terra vi appare come l'atto fondativo della cultura. La società yona riattualizza questo evento con il furto rituale dei beni dei suoi membri in occasione della loro morte. Il sangue di un montone appartenente al defunto assorbito dal bastone ne raccoglie parte della forza che con l'oggetto viene così trasmessa al successore.
