Summary[edit]

Description
English: The rSOC working principle in the two modalities is depicted. When workin in electrolysis (SOEC mode), steam and/or CO2 are converted into syngas mixtures of hydrogen, carbon monoxide and methan, while consuming electricity. In fuel cell (SOFC) mode, these fuels can be converted back to water and/or CO2 while producing electricity.
