Монета Банка России — «Год российской культуры и русского языка в Итальянской Республике и Год итальянской культуры и итальянского языка в Российской Федерации». 25 рублей из серебра с золотом, реверс.

На оборотной стороне монеты расположены золотая вставка прямоугольной формы и изображения выполненных в цвете Государственных флагов Российской Федерации и Итальянской Республики на фоне архитектурных памятников г. Сергиева Посада и г. Бари, имеются надписи: по окружности, разделенная точкой "ГОД РОССИЙСКОЙ КУЛЬТУРЫ И РУССКОГО ЯЗЫКА В ИТАЛЬЯНСКОЙ РЕСПУБЛИКЕ И ГОД ИТАЛЬЯНСКОЙ КУЛЬТУРЫ И ИТАЛЬЯНСКОГО ЯЗЫКА В РОССИЙСКОЙ ФЕДЕРАЦИИ", слева от флагов в две строки - "СЕРГИЕВ ПОСАД", справа - "БАРИ". На вставке изображена икона "Николай Чудотворец", внизу имеются обозначения: слева драгоценного металла по Периодической системе химических элементов Д.И. Менделеева и пробы "Au 999", справа - массы драгоценного металла в чистоте "4,66".
