Description
English: Queen's University, Belfast Queen’s University was built as Queen’s College in 1846-49 to a design by Charles Lanyon. The design is said to have been based on the Founder’s Tower at Magdalen College, Cambridge. The University is a dominant architectural, cultural, social and economic feature of the area.
