Español: La basílica fue reestructurada a principios del siglo XII durante el reinado de Urraca de Zamora, con novedosos espacios como el transepto, cuyo exterior del brazo sur lo ocupa esta portada. El motivo a transmitir es Cristo Salvador a través de su crucifixión, entierro y resurrección, todo un programa simbólico bajo el arte románico probablemente materializado por maestros compostelanos. Ocupa importante lugar entre las principales obras del románico español.
