The apparatus used was furnished by the ChaseMotor Truck Company of that city, and consists of 3-tontrucks each with a capacity of 54 cans, each can holding100 pounds. The pans, of course, are not always full, and the average load of a truck is about l^i tons. In making the collection, six men are used.
