This is a retouched picture, which means that it has been digitally altered from its original version. Modifications: I scanned the postcard 1600 pixels wide, but the original postcard was very pixelated to begin with. Capturing those pixels in hi-definition works against us when creating thumbnails, or displaying the image at lower resolutions. To eliminate the resultant moiré patterns, I used a gaussian blur filter..
