Description
Français : Le camp militaire a été édifié sur le versant sud d'un coteau dominant le ruisseau La Brédoire, le long d'une voie romaine reliant Mediolanum (Saintes) à Lemonum (Poitiers). Les fossés du camp romain ainsi que les baraquements des soldats ont pu être détectés par photographie aérienne lors d'une prospection effectuée en 1976 par Jacques Dassié. Un fanum (temple) a également été découvert et fouillé à quelques centaines de mètres du castrum.
