Summary[edit]

Description (L-2305): This view shows how the dynamometer, with its dial-type scale, was installed in the second cockpit of the fuselage. An operator in this cockpit controlled the engine’s operation and recorded the dynamometer readings during a test. He had to climb into the cockpit on a portable ladder before the run began. One sprocket of the electric starter is visible at right.
