Description
Português: Mapa com dois projectos para pontes entre Lisboa e a Margem Sul do Tejo, em Portugal. O projecto à esquerda é o da ponte pênsil, futura Ponte 25 de Abril, que foi construída. No lado direito está o projecto abandonado para a Ponte do Beato ao Montijo, com as ligações ferroviárias na margem Norte. Esta imagem foi publicada na Gazeta dos Caminhos de Ferro n.º 1202, de 16 de Janeiro de 1938, e digitalizada pela Hemeroteca Municipal de Lisboa.
English: Map with two projects for bridges between the city of Lisbon and the southern margin of the Tagus river, in Portugal. On the left is the "Ponte Pênsil", future 25 de Abril bridge, that was built. On the right is the abandoned project for a bridge between Beato and Montijo, with the railway connections in the Northern margin. This image was published on the Gazeta dos Caminhos de Ferro magazine No. 1202, of 16th January 1938, and scanned by the Hemeroteca Municipal de Lisboa.
