There is as great a difference betweenan ordinary spray pump and an exceptionally good one as thereis between a No. 3 Baldwin and an Extra Fancy Baldwin. It is the same with buying a spray pump as with buying a suitof clothes. Get a good one and it will last for years and be asatisfaction all the time. Buy a poor one and you are sorry forit from the start. Moreover, the styles in spray pumps do notchange much. A good spraying outfit consists of a pump at one end and anozzle at the other, with more or less hose and extension-rodbetween. We will begin with the pump. 175 176 SPRAYING APPARATUS Spray Pumps.—There are quantities of them on the market.Some are better than others, but most of them are good. A fewof them are worthless or nearly so.
