  • 2 – Amphiporus bimaculatus. Middle portion of proboscism with four pouches of accessory stylets (×35). Glacier Bay.
  • 4 – Emplectonema gracile. Stylet apparatus of proboscis (×50). Popof Island.
  • 4 – Amphiporus tigrinus. Middle region of proboscis (×60). Farragut Bay. The deeply stained wreath of glands is indicated only in section.
  • 5 – Zygonemertes albida. Middle portion of proboscis (×40). Victoria, British Columbia.
