| Description |
English: Prison tramway - Dartmoor. This is the track of the old peat tramway that transported peat into Dartmoor prison. This was used to fuel the naptha works that lit the prison in the mid 1850's. The tramway consisted of horsedrawn trucks along iron rails. No remains are left. Black Dunghill is in the background. |
