| Description |
Deutsch: Diese kleine Primärdüne ist nur wenige Dezimeter hoch. Sie liegt im westlichen seeseitigen Teil der Nordseeinsel Wangerooge, zwischen dem Spülsaum und dem Hauptdünengürtel aus Weissdünen (rechts). Die Pflanzen hier sind sogenannte Salzmieren, Pionierpflanzen und ausgeprägte Halophysten (salzverträglich). Die Pflanzen halten den Sand zusammen und erhöhen mit der Zeit die Düne durch neu angewohnten Sand. Der Turm im Hintergrund steht auf der Nachbarinsel Minsener Oog und hat eine Höhe von 54 Metern. |
