Summary[edit]

Description
English: We were waiting at the Sitaa Ghati for signs of the legendary Collarwali, hoping for some alarm calls to ring when they just suddenly did. Tracing them down, we figured it was a Peacock calling at the sight of a large Changeable Hawk-eagle. Our guide confirmed that eagles do prey on Peacocks. We waited to see if a kill would happen, when finally the CHE decided it was not hungry after all. Shot this with the Sigma 150-600mm at full-tilt, and did not have the heart to crop the awesome habitat to go with the tense moments. Pench Tiger Reserve, Madhya Pradesh, India.
