General notes: Title from item.; Full text of this broadside reads: "Presentation and farewell meeting!! At Washington Hall, Bromfield Street, on Monday evening next, July 16, 1849, under auspices of the Colored Citizens of Boston, who will then present a silver pitcher to the champion of universal emancipation, W. Lloyd Garrison. After which a farewell will be tendered to William W. Brown, who is about to leave for Europe. Several early laborers in behalf of the Liberator are expected to be present. The exercises, to be blended with appropriate music, will commence at 7 1-2 o'clock. It is hoped that the occasion will commend itself to the special attendance of every true friend of the Anti-Slavery cause.
