Description
English: Powderham Castle Powderham Castle by tradition is said to have been built by William de Eu soon after the Norman Conquest. It came into the Courtenay family on the marriage of Margaret de Bohun to Hugh de Courtenay in 1325 and has remained with the Courtenay family ever since.
