Description
English: A large and rare example of Van de Velde's only poster design, drawn in 1898 for the Tropon food company as part of a comprehensive design program that appeared on packages of powdered egg whites to advertisements and the company's stationary. This sinuous, abstracted design is one of the most important works of Van de Velde's career and an icon of the Art Nouveau style.
