English: This photo shows a lot of "Postage paid T. P." (T.P., short for "Taxe Perçue" in French, means "Postage Paid") indicia pieces of 1990s cut from envelopes.
On July 27, 1985, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of P.R.China stipulated that "Postage paid" postal datemark (or date stamp) are divided into four types: Domestic, HM (Hong Kong & Macao), confidential communications, and international (later added another type “Taiwan”). On June 17, 1992, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of P.R.China decided to merge various "postage paid" postal datemark into two types. In addition to retaining one type of postage-paid date stamp for confidential communications, the four types of postage-paid date stamps including domestic, HMT (Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan) and international were merged into a same kind of "邮资已付 (Postage Paid) & T.P." postal datemark in bilingual, both Chinese and French.中文（简体）：本图展示了从信封上剪下来的大量“邮资已付 T.P.”代资邮戳切片（T.P.，法语“Taxe Perçue”的缩写，意为“邮资已付”）。
