Post Medieval - Buckle - Chape & Tongue
Description
English: A copper alloy tongue and chape with a single spike from a late 17th or 18th century buckle. This example is in the style of a Marshall type V - xii but with a single spike. This style continued in use through the 18th century. The chape is in good condition with a now dark green/brown patina.
