Post-medieval silver vervel of King Charles, Mirror-image as reproduced from slide.
Description
English: The vervel is composed of a narrow silver ring, with D-section profile, applied with a shield containing the Royal Stuart arms and inscribed around the outside of the band with the name King Charlles, probably for Charles I or Charles II.

Weight 0.84g

Analysis at the British Museum produced a silver content of 97 per cent.
