Post-medieval heart-shaped mount
Description
English: Cast copper alloy mount, flat in section and heart-shaped in plan, cordate with two transverse ridges to emphasize the tow knops. The two integral lugs are incomplete. Read (2001) illustrates a similar example on page 37, Fig.22, No.322, which he dates to the 17th century.
