Description
English: Copper alloy

Mount. Cast plate with engrailed edges and paired knops at its wider end, and vegetal ornament all over its display face. A pair of integrally cast prongs of length circa 18mm on the back are both folded back on themselves and the plate is bent at its narrowest point. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1500-1600.

Length: 26.6mm, Width: 17.4mm, Thickness (clear of prongs): 2.3mm, Weight: 4.46gms.
