Description
Português: Porto fluvial do Pomarão, no Rio Guadiana, situado no Concelho de Mértola, em Portugal. O cais à direita era o terminal da linha de São Domingos, onde se descarregava para os barcos o minério vindo das minas. Esta imagem foi publicada na Ilustração Portuguesa n.º 85, de 7 de Outubro de 1907, e digitalizada pela Hemeroteca Municipal de Lisboa.
English: Pomarão fluvial harbour, on the Guadiana River, located in the Mértola Municipality, in Portugal. The pier on the right was where the iron ore from the São Domingos Mine was loaded from the train wagons to the boats. This image was published on the Ilustração Portuguesa magazine No. 85, of the 7th October 1907, and scanned by the Hemeroteca Municipal de Lisboa.
