Português: Porta da Escultura de Ferro Técnica mista sobre madeira, José Fernandes, 2011. O projecto Portas Pintadas na Rua de Santa Maria Maior foi lançado por João Carlos Abreu após se reformar de secretário regional do Turismo e Cultura, a partir de uma ideia de Martinho Mendes, voltando assim à Zona Velha onde começara a sua vida de empresário do ramo da restauração, tornando-se um assinalável êxito e voltando a equacionar a área como importante polo de animação turística e de lazer. A Comissão multidisciplinar de Requalificação e Embelezamento da Zona Velha foi criada em setembro do passado ano e é presidida pelo ex-secretário regional do Turismo e Cultura, João Carlos Abreu. Integra nomes como o arquiteto Paulo David, a decoradora Nini Andrade e Silva e o empresário António Trindade. |
