| Description |
English: Popular festive scene of yesteryear revived, Omagh. Cancer Research UK has turned back the clock 40 years and has recreated the famous train that wide-eyed children (including me) from Omagh saw made its way round the former JB Anderson's store located here 1616502 for over 30 years They have also on display vintage toys, books and music recordings to recreate the window of JB Anderson's shop. They are holding a draw to guess how long it will take the train to travel a mile. Somehow I remember the original track layout to be bigger than this display but it still brings back fond memories. |
