Description
English: Fleuron from book:
Popery destructive to church and state. Two sermons preach'd at St. Mary Rotherhith, the first on Nov. 5. the other Nov. 13. 1715. Wherein the Mischicvous Doctrines and Practices of the Church of Rome are laid open, The Pleas made use of in favour of a Papish Pretender Answer'd, And the Title of our present Sovereign King georgi Asserted, against the absurd Doctrine of indefeasible Hereditary Right, which is set up against him to favour the Pretender. By Edward Lovell, D. D. Rector of St. Mary Rotherhuth, and Chaplain in Ordinary to His Majesty. Publish'd at the Earnest Request of several of the said Parish, and of many others that heard them.
