Protection Le pont transbordeur : classement par arrêté du 30 avril 1976 Dénomination : pont Siècle : 1er quart 20e siècle Date(s) : 1900 Auteur(s) : Arnodin (ingénieur) Historique : Cet ouvrage reste l'unique témoignage en France d'une époque de la construction métallique française et d'un type de ce pont, les autres ayant été détruits. Les dimensions sont importantes : la largeur de la travée entre pylônes est de 139,75 mètres à 50 mètres de hauteur. Sa désaffection en 1967 s'explique par l'incompatibilité entre l'importance du trafic routier actuel et la lenteur des rotations de manoeuvres de la nacelle suspendue. Statut propriété : propriété de l'Etat Affectataire : ministère chargé de la culture
