Description
Français : Le Pont de Maslenica de la route D8 photographié en 1974. Le pont représenté sur cette photographie, qui avait été ouvert en 1961, a été détruit en 1991 lors de la guerre de Croatie (guerre d'indépendance croate). Il a été reconstruit en 2003 et remis en service en 2005. Le Pont de Maslenica de la route D8 est un pont en arc qui enjambe le détroit Novsko Ždrilo (ou Détroit de Maslenica) entre la Mer de Novigrad (Novigradsko More) et le Canal de Velebit (Velebitski Kanal) sur la Côte Dalmate. Il mesure 315,3 mètres de long, 10,5 mètres de large et il est situé à 55 mètres au dessus de l' eau. Il ne faut pas le confondre avec l' autre Pont de Maslenica qui a été construit pour le passage de l' autoroute A1.


La Mer de Novigrad (Novigradsko More) est une baie enclavée elle-même prolongée par le détroit Karinsko Ždrilo et la Mer de Karine (Karinsko More), un bassin enclavé. Le Canal de Velebit (Velebitski Kanal) n' est pas un canal, mais une partie de mer en longueur comprise entre la Côte Dalmate et des îles parallèles à cette côte.
