Title |
English: Point Reyes Lighthouse Restoration Project: Concrete Pathway above Micropile Installation - May 11, 2019 |
||||
Description |
English: A pathway extends between a fence on the left and a largely natural rock wall on the right. Two two-inch-diameter plastic conduits lead from the lower foreground along the pathway before disappearing under a wooden form containing freshly hardened concrete. The elevation of the pathway increases by about fifteen inches at this form. A newly installed wooden safety fence rises about a foot above an older fence composed of metal pipes. In the distance in the upper left quarter of the photo is the Pacific Ocean. Contractors have poured concrete along the pathway between the Lighthouse Visitor Center and the Observation Deck where micropiles were installed. May 11, 2019.
