Summary[edit]

Description
English: Plymouth Breakwater with Bovisand Bay. Bovisand and Heybrook Bay were popular weekending locations in the days before package holidays and could be reached by train from the old Friary Station and Tothill Halt to Hooe - followed by a good walk, or by motor launches running from the Barbican to the landing station at Bovisand Fort. Details of the Breakwater and other facets of Plymouth's rich history can be found at http://www.plymouthdata.info/
